Privacy

• Your email, because it’s how you sign in. It’s never shown to other players.
• Your handle and signature. Both are public by design, on your profile and beside every battle.
• Your recordings, plus the words you drew, how the take lined up with the beat, and its waveform. Published verses are public.
• Game state: rating, tokens, wins and losses, how many battles you’ve judged, words you’ve claimed, and timestamps for all of it.
• Your votes and reports. Votes are stored with your account so the same battle can’t be judged twice, but they are never shown attached to your name. Other players only ever see totals.
• How the site gets used: pages viewed, downloads, and gameplay moments like a take submitted or a vote cast, with the page that referred you. This lives in our own database, tied to your account when you’re signed in and to a random id in your browser when you’re not. We use it to see what’s working. It never leaves us.

No advertising, no third-party analytics, no trackers, no cookies beyond the one that keeps you signed in. The usage measuring above is ours alone: it stores a random browser id and a one-way hash of your connection, never your raw IP address. Your microphone is only live while you’re recording a take, and audio only leaves your browser when a take is captured.

• Supabase: the database, sign-in, and audio storage.
• Vercel: hosting, which means standard server logs including IP addresses.
• Resend: sends the sign-in codes and the two battle emails.
• Google: only if you choose to sign in with it, and only to confirm who you are.

None of them get your data to use for their own purposes, and nobody buys anything from us because nothing is for sale.

Sign-in codes, a note when one of your verses gets matched, and a note when a battle you were in resolves. That’s it. No newsletter, no marketing.

You can change your handle and re-draw your signature yourself in settings. Ask and your account and recordings get deleted. Verses come down and the account goes with them. Battles you already judged stay as anonymous vote totals, since removing them would rewrite other people’s results.
