jamshiman is a freestyle rap game. You record one take over a beat while words arrive in real time, other players judge it, and a rating moves. It’s free, there’s nothing to buy, and it’s run as a side project, so expect the occasional bug and the occasional change.

You need to be 13 or older. One account per person. Making extra accounts to vote for yourself, pad your record, or farm tokens is the one thing that gets you removed fastest. The whole game rests on votes being honest.

Keep your email secure; anyone with it can sign in as you.

You own everything you record. You keep every right to it and can use it anywhere else however you like.

By publishing a take here you give jamshiman permission to store it, play it back, and show it to other players, including on public pages and link previews, so the game can work. That permission is non-exclusive and free, and it exists purely so we can host and display your verse. Delete your verse and it stops being shown.

Beats are licensed to the site by their producers, not to you. Recording over them here is fine; taking the instrumental for your own releases isn’t something this site can grant.

It’s battle rap. Aggression, trash talk and disrespect aimed at your opponent are the point, and they’re welcome.

Slurs, hate aimed at a group, threats of real violence, sexual content involving minors, and doxxing are not. Neither is uploading audio that isn’t you rapping live.

Every verse has a report link. Reports are reviewed by hand. Consequences escalate from a warning to a battle ban to removal, depending on how bad it is.

Vote for the take you actually think won. Vote-trading, brigading for a friend, or throwing votes to move someone’s rating undermines the only thing this game has, and it’s grounds for removal.

The site is provided as-is. Ratings, seasons, tokens and rules can change. Data can be lost. It can go down. It might stop existing. None of that comes with compensation, because nobody paid anything.

You can stop using the site whenever you like and ask for your account to be deleted. We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, and we’ll tell you why.
